Earth’s Internal Structure: Our access to information

Updated: Aug 4

The study of Earth’s Internal Structure conduction by many ways and it depends on a scientist of research how they lead the task. In my article, you will see many ways to conduct research on the planet and other planets in our galaxy. It means one galaxy holds nine planets, one sun and one moon and countless stars.

Figure 1: Earth’s Internal Structure and source is shown in the reference section

The information about the Earth’s Internal Structure is limited due to the following reasons.

·         Absence of trust among indigenous people of any country and legal government in the same country.

·         No availability of research institution in the country

·         No access to justice in the country

·         In-equality due to limited information

The distance between the centers of the earth to the outer surface of the land is approximately around 6371 km. The distance varies from location to location.

Scientists understand the Earth’s Internal Structure by extracting information or by conducting research on the following

·         Earthquake waves

·         Earth’s magnetic force

·         Gravity

According to the research and conclusion obtained from earthquake waves, magnetic force and gravity; it is concluded that Earth' Internal Structure consists of three main parts explained below

1.       Crust

1.1   Forms a very thin surface skin

1.2   Crust and upper mantle are known to have changes in physical and chemical characteristic

1.3   Crust and upper mantle changes in properties both horizontal and vertically

2.       Mantle

2.1   Upper mantle

2.2   Lower velocity layer

2.3   Transition zone

2.4   Lower mantle

2.5   A thick shell that extends half the radius down into the earth

3.       Core

3.1   Lower mantle and core are generally assumed to uniform

3.2   Uniformity is due to the geophysical phenomenon are masked (covered) by physical properties of the upper layer

3.3   Inner core

3.4   Outer core

3.5   Core occupies the central part

In the deep study, the evidence about Earth’s Internal Structure comes from the following

·         Surface rocks and digging information about them

·         Compiling and organizing data from earthquakes

·         From of heat from Earth’s most inner part to land where all living being live on Earth

·         Heat from the Earth’s magnetic field

·         Gravity and its influence on Earth’s Internal Structure

There is another scientific study conducted by drawing observation around the Earth’s surface

1.      Direct observation

1.1   The observation includes the direct observance of rocks

2.       Secondary observation

2.1   It involves geophysical phenomenon

2.2   Waves through the earth from earthquakes

2.3   Waves from the explosive's sources

2.3.1          It means earth contains explosives sources

2.4   Planetary motions of the earth

2.5   Flow of heat from

2.5.1          Earth’s interior

2.5.2          The magnetic field

2.5.3          Gravitational attraction

3.     Laboratory experiments on earth’s surface

3.1   Laboratory experiments on

3.1.1          Surface rocks

3.1.2          Minerals

4.     Comparison of earth with

4.1   Planets

4.2   Sun

4.3   Stars

4.4   Meteorites

In the end, there are billions of methods where information reaches us through many observations. The research articles hold much information for your on earth surface. We’ve obtained much research work on earthquake, surface rocks and under-ground water research. Most of our research work has been done on surface rock. We’ve limited access to under-ground water research, earth structure, and tectonic plates. We’ve no information on ocean.

There is only one way we can bring information to people by working on the issues around us. I believe there are very few websites who write about scientific work and their availability to a person who never went to a university or school. If the information goes to the layman who never went to school, it means we’re working to help people understand about our planet.
