Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah having personal reposition for books, and documentation holds a great historic essence. Such a great reposition by founder of Pakistan was handed over to the supervision of his blood-sister Ma’am, Fatima Jinnah. After the death of Quaid’s blood-sister, the repository documents and books of Quaid-e-Azam was transferred to the Ministry of Communication.
In June 1979; entire and complete repository was brought into the detention of Ministry of Education in Quaid-e-Azam paper cell, Islamabad; where, the function of safety and copy of repository has been in continuing workspace. Now a day, the institution has been working accordant to Ministry of Cultural and Heritage. This repository is comprised of such documents, books, and thins with details shown below.

About the repository, there are approximately 1-million Fifty Thousand pages and 3-Thousand historic photos. From the repository, the precious asset was classified into seventeen hundred topics and ordered into files. Four volumes based on short versions of repository were prepared that were available for audiences. However, work for descriptive Cataloging of repository is in progress and five volumes had been published, so far. Researchers, and fancier may fitly gain advantage from the repository. The provision over application for the acquisition of micro-film and photocopy is also provided.
