Service Description

The handling of waste in Pakistan has become an enormous challenge due to GHG emission from the open dumping site and throwing of bio-mass into waste water canal. Despite of encouragement from the Government of Pakistan to install renewable energy in the country, only 5% renewable energy has added to the national grid so far. Pakistan is has amazing natural resources but the apathy of leaders sitting in power corridors adding fuel to the fire. The country is in desperate need to fight against climate change. On the other hand, climate change causes enormous economic, financial and social implications for the sustainability of business around the world. Use of biomass fuels by the growing population has been exerting pressure on the natural sources of biomass causing deforestation, degradation of soil, environmental and ecological problems. Pakistan has immense pressure to cope with climate change in the region. The country produces huge amount of waste and of which 64% waste generated is organic in nature and holds a great potential for energy and fertilizer. The anaerobic digestion of organic waste is bio-chemical technique with multiple-input and single output approach. The bio-chemical is flexible enough to decompose, generate biogas and organic fertilizer from a wide range of organic waste including food waste, agri-waste, and MSW. FAY Consultants is an emerging company in the field of chemical process design and mechanical engineering. We are expert in design thermo-chemical and bio-chemical processes to meet the customer demands through state-of-the-art technologies and computer aided software. We offer wide range of services and not limited to the following; • Opportunity study • Feasibility study • Preliminary design • Detailed engineering design of biogas plant We have successfully developed the detailed engineering design of biogas plant to process 50 tons/day of banana waste plant in Philippines. The plant is unique its features as we used two temperature regimes to process the bio-waste at mesophilic bio-reactor (34-40 °C) and thermophilic bio-reactor (55-60 °C. The approach is excellent in its nature and produce significant amount of biogas as compared to single stage anaerobic digestion. Moreover, the process is committed to produce high quality organic fertilizer. FAY Consultant committed to provide proficient engineering services at your door.
