Call: ID: LC-GD-2-1-2020: “Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future: Research and innovation in support of the European Green Deal (H2020-LC-GD-2020)”

List of Participant: ACTED France, ACTED Pak, Pak Mission Society, U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E) NUST

Duration: 4 Years; Project Submitted: 28-Jan-2021

Grant: 6 million Euros

Service Provided: Opportunity study, Feasibility study, preliminary design and detailed engineering design

The focus lies on three overarching OBJECTIVES:

Evidence from this research shall contribute toward a holistic public health preparedness and response in the context of ongoing and future epidemics

B) A core focus is conducting real-time assessments to evaluate the integration of Biogas Plant with Concentrated Solar Power Plant. Real-time data collections will guide the descriptive evidence on the acceptability, adoption, appropriateness as well as the feasibility of the combination of two energy renewable technologies.
C) A better understanding of the impact, (cost-)effectiveness of the integration of biogas and concentrated solar power have either been implemented by local authorities or are implemented under objective. The goal will also cover the efficiency of the two energy technologies for filling the energy gap in demand and supply
